Context
Vigdis Rosenkilde aims to stand out in a market where premi- um-origin chocolate is on the rise but still lacks a visual repre- sentation that conveys the richness and complexity of its origins. The goal was to capture the sensory richness of chocolate and its connection to the Amazonian nature through an immersive and evocative visual universe.
Challenge
The challenge was to express the bond between Amazonian cacao and its natural environment in a sophisticated and contemporary way without resorting to conventional repre- sentations. Additionally, the brand needed packaging that would strengthen its identity and highlight its artisanal ap- proach within a competitive segment.
Creative Solution
For the rebranding of Vigdis Rosenkilde, a series of illustrations were developed, merging art, technology, and visual storytelling under the concept Nature's Quiet Complexity.
Extensive research on Amazonian flora and fauna was con- ducted, followed by collage-style compositions and digital painting in Procreate. The integration of mixed techniques, such as matte painting and photomontage, allowed for the creation of a detailed, sophisticated, and organic illustration. The result is a packaging design that enhances the brand's perception of quality and authenticity.

Emotional Wilderness
in The Golden Kingdom
In the space between a woman's hands and the soil
she touches lives an unspoken covenant with nature.
These illustrations honor Vigdis Rosenkilde's quiet
communion with the Peruvian wilderness— how
she kneels beside these creatures as kin.
I sought to render visible what often remains unseen:
the emotional life pulsing beneath fur and feather.
Each animal embodies a distinct chocolate variety in
Vigdis' collection, their personalities reflecting the
nuanced flavor profiles she so carefully cultivates.
Their expressions—tender, curious, content—mirror
the emotional landscape Vigdis herself discovered
in her journeys through Amazonian depths.

The cacao pods hang like golden
lanterns, immensely large—as mythic as
they are to the communities who have
tended them for generations. They are
El Dorado's true treasure, hidden in the
vast Amazonic jungle, symbols of a
completeness that requires no human
intervention. Trees rise as botanical
specimens and living architecture,
holding this delicate world in balance.
Leaves curve with the same gentle
intention as Vigdis' hands selecting each
bean—protective, attentive, reverent.
This is sacred nature witnessed through
the understanding eyes of a curious
woman who has learned to listen to its
quietest conversations. Here is a realm
where eternal bliss exists as daily reality
for beings we too often render invisible.
